St Anne’s Safety Superheroes created a firework safety competition. There were lots of entries and Miss Steadman found it very difficult to choose 3 winners. However, the winners were in Year 5, Year 3 and Year 2.
All children did a fantastic job creating the posters!
Well done St Annes!

Stay Safe Team Takes Action
We sent the following email to the Local Authority, as we were so concerned about the speed of the traffic outside our school.
“I am the school chaplain at St Anne’s and work with the children on the concerns and causes that they are passionate about. We have struggled for years with the traffic outside of our school and recent changes on Woodhouse Lane seem to have moved their problem closer to us. The children have been busy making posters with important messages and we have worked alongside local resident Kevin Donohue who lives on Lambton Drive. A response from your department back to the children would be very much appreciated. I have attached a small sample of their work.“
